10 Minute HIIT Workout - Jump Rope, Thrusters, Waiter Walks

Here's the workout demo for this week!  Read below for all the details.  This one is a doozy!

It was CRAZY warm today, so we thought we'd take a field trip, and get a quick 10-Minute-High Intensity Workout in this afternoon!

Tiffany and Tanessa have been teaching some fitness classes on the grounds of the beautiful Holy Cross Abbey here in Canon City, Co. and it made the perfect backdrop for this short, but sharp workout.

Here's another great HIIT workout plan that can be done at home with minimal equipment & a little space...

5 Rounds
15 Thrusters
25 Double Unders
50 Meter Waiter Walk

Tiffany Chose 25lb dumbbells, and Tanessa chose 20lb dumbbells.
Choose a thruster weight that you can do unbroken, or even scale back to air squats instead of thrusters if necessary.

The goal is to be moving for around 10 minutes, so make sure you choose movements that allow you to get through each round in about 2 minutes.

Feel free to scale to single-unders if you are falling off pace.

Also, as much as we love a good cheat meal, we'd be remiss in our duties if we didn't remind you to stay on the wagon with your nutrition.  Literally NOTHING will do more to change your health, quality of life, and body composition.

If you have no idea where to start with nutrition, we HIGHLY recommend doing a round of The Whole30 as a jumping off point.

As with any diet or exercise program, make sure you've had proper instruction, and are cleared by a doctor for high intensity interval training before you try a HIIT workout plan on your own at home.

Having said all that...Good luck!

This 10-minute high intensity workout definitely packed a punch!

Wave a WONDERFUL day!
