Jump Ropes For Sale!

What a beautiful, yet odd, thing to be able to say. 

Jumping rope has been around for thousands of years, but the idea of owning a jump rope store that sells very little else is relatively new.

The first secure online transaction took place in 1994, and since then, the internet has exploded with various e-commerce products. 

However, people are still completely blown away when I tell them what I do for a living.  I can see the pity in their eyes. You can feel them thinking, "Oh you poor little thing.  You couldn't possibly make a living selling jump ropes..."

And honestly, I don't blame them. It does sound pretty crazy.

I'm sure they have images of me going door to door with a briefcase of jump ropes, or walking around gyms selling jump ropes like popcorn at a baseball game...

"Jump ropes!...Getcha jump ropes heeere!"

Due to my introverted nature, I think I'd rather be beaten to death with a jump rope than eek out a living in a "traveling jump rope salesman" sort of way.

When I think about schlepping jump ropes around the country, I become grateful for the internet very quickly.

Before 1994, if you wanted to buy jump ropes, you'd have to go to some sort of sporting goods store, or hope the Sears catalog had jump ropes for sale somewhere between riding lawnmowers and granny panties.

And sure, Sears probably had jump ropes for sale, but what kind?  Leather? Plastic?  Beaded?  Double Dutch? Who knows what you'd find.  In the words of my 6 year old, a pre-1994 jump rope sale could likely come with the old adage "you get what you get, and you don't throw a fit."

But we live in an amazing time.  We have jump ropes for sale, and you can get them black, blue, pink, long, short, decorated, sprinkled with glitter, adjustable...However you want them!

As a friend of mine says, "the internet is a big place."  And we've found that it's full of all sorts of people who care about being fit, having fun, and making a difference.  Buying jump ropes through our site allows you to do all of those things.
